About Xander Greene

Xander Greene graduated from Grand Valley State University in 2014 with a Bachelors in Music Education. During his time at Grand Valley, Xander studied Voice, Bassoon, and Contrabassoon. He was a member of the University Arts Chorale, Varsity Men, Varsity 8, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Symphony Orchestra, and served as the Education and Music Director of the Men’s Music Fraternity, Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Upon graduating, Xander worked as a music teacher and Musical Theatre Director in the Three Rivers School District. Xander has worked as a Vocal Coach for the 2017 musical at North Farmington HS, and the Musical Director for the 2017 musical at Novi HS. For the 2016-2017 school year, Xander worked as a Voice Teacher at Walled Lake Central HS. Xander spent three years at Walnut Creek Middle School as the Director of Choral Activities and the Director of Theatrical Programs. Xander has served as the District Manager for MSVMA District IV, and was a Presenter at the 2020, 2022, and 2024 Michigan Music Conference in Grand Rapids, Mi. He has been invited to speak at the 2024 MSVMA Summer Conference. Most recently, Xander served as the Director of Choirs at Wayne Memorial High School in Wayne-Westland Schools, where he directs various ensembles throughout the district.  Xander currently resides in Canton with his two biggest fans, his cats, Hildegard and Helvetica.
